Frequently Asked Questions

Orders & Pricing

How much do custom cards cost?

Every project is different. Pricing depends on factors like total quantity, number of designs, packaging, and any special finishes or upgrades.

For an exact price, request a custom quote and I’ll review your project details.

Is there a minimum?

Yes. The current minimum order is $200 + shipping.

This helps ensure each project receives the time, care, and production quality it deserves.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

I work with teams, businesses, parents, creators, and trading card companies.

Projects range from small commemorative sets to full team releases and original trading card series. If you’re not sure whether your idea is a fit, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to take a look.

Do you work with nonprofits or fundraisers?

I occasionally work with nonprofit or fundraising projects when there’s a clear fit. Feel free to reach out with details.

Can I order multiple versions or variations in one project?

Yes. Many projects include multiple designs or variations. As long as everything is clearly defined and approved, they can be produced as part of the same project.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, PayPal, and more. Purchase orders can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis for approved organizations and must be approved before work begins.

Design & File Prep

Can you help me figure out what I need if I’m not sure yet?

Absolutely. Many projects start with just an idea. I’m happy to help you think through quantities, formats, and options to shape it into a finished set.

Do I need a design ready to go?

Not at all. Some customers come with print-ready files. Others start with a few photos and a rough idea. I can work with either, from light file prep to complete card design and full set creation.

Can you handle the full design for my cards?

Yes. I offer complete design support, including card templates, layouts, backs, and full set builds.

Design work is scoped based on the needs of your project and confirmed before anything begins.

Can you match the look of existing trading cards?

I can take inspiration from classic or modern trading card styles while creating a design that fits your project. I don’t directly replicate copyrighted designs or layouts.

How should files be prepared if I want to submit print-ready artwork?

If you’re providing print-ready files, I can share my design templates after you submit a quote request. These cover dimensions, bleed, safe zones, color mode, and export settings.

There’s also a File Setup Guide available on the site for reference.

Proofing & Revisions

Will I see a proof before printing?

Yes. You’ll receive digital proofs for review before anything goes to print. Nothing is produced without your approval.

How many revisions are included?

Reasonable revisions are included. I just ask that feedback is batched when possible so the process stays efficient and on schedule.

Can I make changes after I approve my proof?

Once a proof is approved, the project moves into production. If you catch something afterward, reach out right away and I’ll let you know whether changes are still possible.

Printing & Production

What cardstock do you use?

Cards are printed on professional 16 pt. card stock, similar to what you’d expect from traditional sports cards. It has the proper weight, stiffness, and finish for long-term durability.

Do you offer packaging options like foil packs or slabs?

Yes. Packaging options vary by project and may include individual cards, team sets, foil packs, slabs, or custom configurations. Available options will be discussed during the quote process.

Where are the cards printed?

All cards are designed and printed in the USA. Production is handled through my family’s print shop, Archway Press, located near Philadelphia and operating since 1979.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does a typical project take?

Timelines vary depending on project size, design needs, and current workload.

Once I review your request, I’ll confirm an estimated timeline before anything begins. If you’re working toward a specific event date, be sure to include it when requesting a quote.

Do you offer rush services?

Rush production may be available depending on current workload and project scope.

Do you ship internationally?

Orders are currently printed and shipped within the United States. If you have an international request, feel free to reach out and I can let you know what’s possible.

Policies

What happens if my cards arrive damaged or incorrect?

If your order arrives damaged or there’s a production error on my end, I’ll replace the affected items at no additional cost. If an error was present in the approved proof, reprints may require an additional charge.

Do you keep my designs on file?

Yes. Your designs are securely stored so future reorders or updates can be handled quickly and easily.

Do you offer reorders or additional runs later?

Yes. Since your designs are kept on file, reorders or additional runs are easy to accommodate. Just reach out with what you’re looking to add or reprint.

Do you share or reuse customer designs publicly?

No. Your designs and assets are kept private unless you explicitly give permission to share them.

For Trading Card Companies & Creators

Do you print for other trading card companies?

Yes. In addition to custom projects for teams, businesses, and families, I also serve as a print partner for trading card creators and companies. I can support small batch runs, larger releases, and repeat production all while keeping your brand front and center.
