Custom trading cards created for the Whitemarsh Little League 7U Red Squad tournament team.
Project Overview
The Whitemarsh Little League 7U Red Squad wanted a fun way to celebrate their tournament season and give the players something memorable to take home.
I created a custom team trading card set featuring every player on the roster. The cards were packaged into foil trading card packs so each player could open their own pack just like a real trading card release.
The goal was to make the experience feel exciting for the kids while also creating something meaningful for families to keep from the season.
When the packs were opened, the reaction from the players was exactly what you would hope for. Parents mentioned their kids were excited to sleeve the cards and add them to their collections. One parent even shared that their child took Pokémon cards out of a binder so they could replace them with their own team cards.
Moments like that are exactly what these projects are meant to create.

Packaging Experience
The cards were packaged in foil trading card packs inspired by classic sports card releases.
Each player received their own pack containing the full team set. Opening the packs added excitement to the experience and made the cards feel like a real collectible release.
For this project I personalized every pack for the players. Instead of using a single wrapper design, I created stickers from each player’s card and applied them to the foil packs so every pack featured a different player.
I also added a sticker to the back of each pack so both sides of the wrapper were customized.
This small detail made the packs feel even more personal and gave each player a pack that featured someone from their own team.
Youth Sports Team Cards
Trading cards are a unique way for youth teams to celebrate a season.
Instead of a traditional team photo or end of season plaque, every player receives their own collectible card while still being part of the full team set.
These cards often become keepsakes that families hold onto for years.
