SF City Streetcar Heritage Cards
Promotional trading cards created for SF City FC and San Francisco Muni Heritage Week.
Project Overview
SF City FC wanted a creative giveaway for Muni Heritage Week in San Francisco. The event celebrates the city’s historic streetcar system and public transit history.
Instead of a traditional flyer or handout, the idea was to create collectible trading cards that fans could take home during the event.
Working with SF City FC and their sponsor Muni, I designed a set of promotional trading cards that highlight both the club and San Francisco’s iconic streetcars.
The final set included cards featuring historic streetcars along with cards showcasing the club’s jerseys and mascot. Each card includes simple details like the vehicle number, location, or kit information, giving the cards a small piece of San Francisco history.
The cards were distributed during Muni Heritage Week and quickly became a popular giveaway during the event.

Promotional Uses
These cards were designed specifically as a promotional giveaway during Muni Heritage Week.
Trading cards work especially well for events because they are something people keep rather than throw away. Fans often take multiple cards, trade with friends, or save them as souvenirs from the event.
In this case the cards helped celebrate both San Francisco transit history and the local soccer club in a format that felt fun and collectible.
After the event the team mentioned that the cards were a hit and that they could have easily given away twice as many.
